Other than that, Salsa have achieved popularity due to its dynamic nature of music & dance. Also, there are no strict rules on how a salsa should be performed as it is an improvised dance and can be altered accordingly. For both men and women, styles incorporated for such type includes; arm work, leg work, body gestures, body isolations, spins etc.


Besides, there are countless cultural dances worldwide, for instance, in India- the eight traditional styles are known as; Kathak, Kuchipudi, Mohiniattam, Kathakali, Sattriya Odissi, Manipuri & Bharatanatyam. These dances are performed in various Indian festivals. However, these are quite old and are still looked forward in some parts of Hindu regions.

The type of dance is known as dhammal, where men and women feel part of the Qawwali song and a devotional dance is done by high stepping and hands above the head with the index finger pointing upwards. People get involved in the song, thus, perform this slow dance whilst they are sitting.
